Subject:Masquerade Masks Recommendations

I'm going to be attending a masquerade in the beginning of May. I would love to find an awesome mask to wear to the ball. I'm looking for something in leather, or paper mache. I really love the masks by Madame Khufu, but I need something thats reasonably priced, preferably under $100 bucks (thus why I know I can't afford Madame Khufu).

So I'm looking for recommendations! I want something nice, that stands out and preferably no feathers. This is my first true masquerade so I'm very excited and looking forward to it.

Oh wow! Those are gorgeous and affordable! Most of the ones I'd found so far were beautiful but very very pricey.

Thanks!

No problem! Relle, the owner is super nice too. I am sure she can help you and I also know that she does some custom work as well. Hope you find something great! Also if she cannot help you there is sometimes some great affordable leather masks on e-bay. I have purchased a few for fashion shows, but they tend to be not as fancy. A bit pricy but there is also http://www.masksbymorgan.com but I noticed she is not taking on any new work until the end of March.

Oh wow, those are stunning to, more expensive, but wow. I think i'm going to really have to think now, I'll probably check with the first place and see if she could do a flame one for me.

The phoenix one on Masks by Morgan however is what I was looking for, that one, inferno, or Morgan's Irish Temper are all close.

Thank you thank you thank you! I've gone from not really being sure and not finding anything I liked to now not knowing which i like more. ^_^

http://www.angel-mask.com/ - many things are out of your price range, but some things aren't. I got one of the "unique" masks last year for about $70 I think it was, counting the shipping.

Xothique designs by Helen Rich are UK based but masks start round about £30 and shouldn't cost too much to post overseas - they're all completely handmade absolutely from scratch and are gorgeous. I think she does a lot of custom orders so you'd have no problem getting what you're after. http://www.xothique.com

Not sure if you'll like any of the designs, but AMK Korsets offers some masks:
